You’ll embark on an early morning game drive to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including the iconic Big Five. Later, you’ll visit the renowned elephant orphanage, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe orphaned elephants being cared for and learn about the Trust’s conservation efforts.

Itinerary

Early Morning (05:00-05:30): Breakfast & Departure

  • Enjoy a quick breakfast at your hotel.
  • Depart for Nairobi National Park at 5:30 AM.

Nairobi National Park (05:30-10:30)

  • Embark on a morning game drive in the park, exploring the diverse habitats and searching for iconic wildlife like lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and giraffes.
  • Keep an eye out for the black rhino, a highlight of the park.
  • Descend into the Mbagathi River area to spot crocodiles and hippos.
  • Take a break for a packed breakfast or picnic lunch within the park (not included).

David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (10:30-12:00)

  • Arrive at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s elephant orphanage.
  • Witness the heartwarming interaction of orphaned elephant calves with their keepers.
