Booking Confirmation
All safari bookings made with Campofrio Safaris are subject to availability and confirmation by Campofrio Safaris. Clients acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions upon booking a safari with Campofrio Safaris. Booking confirmation is contingent upon the receipt of the required deposit or full payment, as specified by Campofrio Safaris.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit, as determined by Campofrio Safaris, is required to secure a booking. Full payment must be received by Campofrio Safaris before the commencement of the safari, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made by clients are subject to cancellation fees, which may vary depending on the timing of the cancellation and the specific terms of the booking. Campofrio Safaris reserves the right to cancel or amend bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and government restrictions. In such cases, clients will be offered alternative arrangements or a refund, at the discretion of Campofrio Safaris.
Travel Insurance
Campofrio Safaris strongly recommends that clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and travel disruptions. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their insurance coverage is adequate for the duration and activities of the safari.
Responsibility
While every effort is made to ensure the safety and comfort of clients during safaris, Campofrio Safaris is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the safari, including accidents, illness, or property loss. Clients participate in safaris at their own risk and are responsible for their own health, safety, and well-being. It is recommended that clients follow the advice and instructions of Campofrio Safaris guides and staff at all times.
Health and Medical Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all health and medical requirements for travel to the safari destination, including obtaining necessary vaccinations or medical clearance if required. Campofrio Safaris recommends consulting a medical professional prior to travel to assess health risks and receive appropriate advice.
Force Majeure
Campofrio Safaris is not liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or government restrictions. In such events, Campofrio Safaris will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or reschedule the safari, subject to availability and feasibility.
Code of Conduct
Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner towards fellow travelers, guides, staff, and local communities. Clients must adhere to local laws, customs, and regulations at all times and follow instructions provided by Campofrio Safaris guides and staff. Campofrio Safaris reserves the right to refuse service or remove clients from a safari if their behavior is inappropriate, disruptive, or harmful.
Privacy Policy
Campofrio Safaris respects client privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. Information provided by clients will only be used to facilitate safari bookings and provide relevant services. Campofrio Safaris will not disclose personal information to third parties without consent, except when required by law or necessary to fulfill requested services.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms and conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
By booking a safari with Campofrio Safaris, clients agree to these terms and conditions. Campofrio Safaris reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing the terms periodically for any changes or updates.
